The Wednesday Halloween & Attractions Show Pre-Show Party will take place at the Over/Under Bar & Grill. We will be renting out the entire restaurant/bar to gather anyone who wants to start networking early. It will be a great gathering place for everyone who comes into town Wednesday night. Come have a relaxing night with friends before you hit the show floor Thursday morning.

This event includes BBQ Dinner, behind the scenes tour of the escape rooms, haunted houses and our entire facility. This event also includes a question and answer session about the haunted houses with tours starting at 7:30 pm. Dinner and question and answers start at 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Third Annual Don’t Be A Monster Silent Auction

Don’t Be A Monster is a bullying prevention nonprofit working with haunted houses throughout the U.S. to deliver free and low cost assemblies for students in grades 4th-10th. Glenn HetrickAs the CEO of Alchemy Studios, Glenn Hetrick personally supervises every effect for his studio’s many projects including hundreds of forensically accurate makeups and corpses for Crossing Jordan, Hugh Jackman’s body replicas for The Prestige, all of the makeup illusions and prosthetics that propelled Heroes and CSI:NY, and the surreal effects in Sony’s Legion.  He constantly continues working as both FX Artist and performer. His resume includes special effects for The Event, custom wardrobe and instruments for Lady Gaga, prosthetic effects and props for Disney’s Journey 2: Mysterious Island, Lionsgate’s Hunger Games 1, 2, 3 and 4, The Dictator, The Host, Mad Men, Marvel’s Agents of SH.I.E.L.D., Steven Spielberg’s Extant and most recently Star Trek Discovery.

Simultaneous to his work as an FX Artist, Glenn continues his development work as Producer on both NECROSCOPE and his own Television series based on the EC Comics franchise Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror. Marrying his passions for performance and FX, he stars in all 13 Seasons of the on-going Syfy Hit Face-Off! Future plans include franchising his own brand of Live Horror Entertainment in the form of Escape Games and an immersive Cinematic Inspired Haunt Experience for Halloween.

Join the HAA Board in open discussion about the 2016 haunt season and the trends for 2017. We will discuss what went right and what went wrong. City Museum Party 2017This annual event begins after the trade show closes and gives everyone at the show a chance to feel like a kid again! Go back to your hotel, put on your comfy shoes and spend hours exploring St. Louis’ legendary City Museum

PARKING: The parking lot is at 17th and Lucas, one block west of the main parking lot and two blocks west from the main entrance doors to City Museum. There are just over 200 spaces in this this lot.

Should you forget this information, the main parking lot attendant can direct you to the right location once you arrive.

As always, if you wish to pay the $5 per car (cash only) charge to park in the main parking lot at 16th Street, you are welcome to do so. This is also a first-come, first-served lot.

ENTRANCE: Use the group entrance for easier access to the party. The group entrance is located at the 15th Street Entrance on the East side of the building. There is a sign that indicates “GROUP” entrance.
